The Officers and Members of the Edgartown Yacht Club invite you to participate in the Edgartown Yacht Club Twelve Metre Regatta, to be held on Friday through Sunday – August 9th through 11th, 2024.
The Regatta is open to 12 Metre yachts holding a valid certificate and are current with their International Twelve Metre Class dues, America’s Fleet and certificate filing fees.

The biennial NYYC Race Week has become a favorite of sailors due to the spectacular sailing conditions, unparalleled onshore hospitality and the great race management provided by the Club’s all-volunteer race committee. True race weeks are a rarity in today’s time-crunched world and the Club is proud to keep that traditional alive with six days of racing and activities
What started as a one-class Shields regatta back in 1984, has grown to be the keynote East Coast event and a “must do” for sailors. In 2024, we’ll celebrate four decades of running this premier multi-class one-design event. From ILCAs to 12 Metres – this regatta is a unique opportunity for camaraderie with so many sailors.
North America’s oldest annual regatta will feature three great days of racing including the separately scored Around-the-Island Race on Friday. Competition will take place in ORC, PHRF and one-design classes, as well as for classic yachts and multihulls.
